Mulita

Smoke, ginger, and bubbles. The Mulita is the perfect remedy for the heat: spicy, citrusy, and deeply refreshing.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz Mezcal La Manuela Espadín
  • 1 fresh ginger coin
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 2 oz ginger ale
Garnish: Ginger coin and a sprig of rosemary

Preparation:

  1. Place the ginger coin in a shaker and muddle gently to extract its aroma and heat.
  2. Add the mezcal, lime juice, and simple syrup.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
  4. Strain into an Old Fashioned glass with fresh ice.
  5. Top with ginger ale and stir gently.
  6. Garnish with a ginger coin and a sprig of rosemary for an aromatic touch.
